The story
Coffee was born in Ethiopia, and the buna ceremony is how it is still shared: roasted, ground, brewed three times in a jebena. This mug plays the same trick — nothing to see until the coffee is hot enough to drink.

A matte black mug that looks plain until you pour: hot coffee brings up a gold Lalibela tibeb band and the word ቡና. Cools back to black as the cup empties.
Changes with warmth. Thermochromic ink: the design hides when cold and appears in gold when the piece warms up — hot coffee, your hand, or the sun. Drag the slider to see both states.
